While looking for inspiration for our Digital Imaging Photoshop assignment, I came across this great website by artist Christophe Huet…he has some incredible stuff on his portfolio and worked for big clients such as Motorola, Citroen and Apple. You guys should definitely check it out!

But one day it is going to rain.
It has to.
All the lights are turned off.
Music is on…so loud it reaches my soul, really
It’s late. Nobody home. Nobody on the streets. No moon. It’s just me…and the millions and millions of stars…
If they are so many, then why am I this tempted to look at the one star that suddenly starts to fall??? Why, If it’s just about to desintegrate and become only a memory fading with time? Well…maybe that’s exactly the beauty of it…
Still…I don’t intend to break the rules of nature…And obviously I couldn’t, not even if I tried! There’s nothing I can do about that star!!!
Thing is, for every star that falls…another one is shining up there…maybe one that is even more beautiful and with more light, even though it’s also more distant from me…
and guess what? I’m not the only one who can see it!
This is comforting enough…to know that someone else is staring at the same sky that I am…and maybe, seeing my face in one of those stars…
for once, it doesnt matter how many stars are falling…or how impossible it is for me to reach them…it is THE SAME SKY!!!
I am going to sleep in peace tonight(…)

I’m helping advertise and exhibition called ‘Cine Water to drink’, sponsored by Coca
Cola, that will be part of the Amazon Film Festival to happen in Brazil this November.
We are looking for submissions of short films (up to 5 minutes) on environmental issues,
more specifically, on WATER.
We have a short deadline (Oct 1st), but will reward the winner with an equipment of up
to R$2700.
We need the title, the length, the filmmaker’s name and a written authorization to show
the short in the Amazonas Film Festival by Oct 1st.
After the festival, the shorts will also be sent to charity institutions and schools in
Brazil.

For people that are fan of movie photography, I would really recommend The Machinist. I mean, I don’t really know a lot about movies and cameras, but was astonished by the beauty of the scenes… the composition, colors, mood, etc. And it’s also a really good movie… gives you a lot of random thoughts, haha.
Plus, you get to see Christian Bale 63 pounds lighter than normal (he did an incredible job in this movie)!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m sure you’ll like it too.
So this week I got some really great news! As a 20 years old gift, my dad is giving me tickets for London, UK this December! One of my best friends lives there and I am super excited to see her! Thought this would be an oportunity to post this digital drawing I made of her in Photoshop, using the pen tool. Tell me what you think!

Although this is initially an assignment for my Web Design Class (which seems pretty fun, by the way), I’m pretty sure a lot more than good grades will come out from this!
